A Workshop to Prepare Association Leaders to Guide Their Organizations Through 2024 and Beyond

The partnership between association CEOs and their key volunteer leaders is more important than ever as the association sector continues to adapt and lead through the pandemic, economic disruption, and heightened uncertainty. These times bring particularly unique challenges and opportunities to STEM associations, and leaders must have the information and skills to engage effectively.
 
CESSE and McKinley Advisors are proud to offer a virtual workshop for STEM association CEOs and their board officers that will help foster an effective partnership and prepare them to lead their organization.

Who Will Benefit

The leadership workshop is designed for Association Chief Executive Officers/Executive Directors and up to two of their volunteer leader board officers.

Course Outline

This workshop will be delivered through two virtual Zoom sessions and will explore:
  • Effective governance practices and leadership roles for CEOs and their board leaders
  • Addressing critical issues like diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and leading through change
  • Developing strategies that translate into stronger revenue performance
  • Gaining insight into strategies and priorities that support achieving an organization's goals

This workshop meets the requirements for fulfilling the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive credential. Every program that we offer which qualifies for CAE credit will clearly identify the number of CAE credits granted for full participation, and we will maintain records of your participation in accordance with CAE policies.

As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 6 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.

There are no specific individual courses required as part of the applications – the selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs.
