We’re excited to announce our Call for Volunteers for upcoming opportunities that will help shape the future of STEM societies. As a volunteer, you’ll gain valuable experience, grow your professional network, and contribute directly to advancing the STEM association industry. We are seeking CESSE members to serve on various committees and working groups.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • CEO Meeting 2026 Co-Chair: Lead planning for CEO Meeting and special events.
  • CEO Meeting 2025 Session Convener: Organize and lead session(s) at the 2025 CEO Meeting. Duties may include coordinating speakers, managing the schedule, facilitating discussions, and ensuring that the session runs smoothly.
  • Nominating Committee: Identify and evaluate candidates for CESSE leadership positions. Committee to compile a diverse slate of recommendations for election, oversee the voting process, and communicate relevant information to the membership.
  • Future Shared Interest Group (SIG) Chair: Publications, Education & Training, Finance & HR, Meetings & Exhibits, Membership & Marketing.
  • Ad Hoc Task Force: As need arises throughout the year be available for short, task specific projects.
  • Webinar Working Group: Responsible for organizing webinars for CESSE members.
